Address: Parco Gatti, via Pantoli-Cimatti

Tourist offices:

A beautiful stylised statue dedicated to one of the most important ceramists of the twentieth century.

Explaination: An essential and highly stylised sculpture: it is not a realistic bust of Riccardo Gatti but an impersonal figure, which ideally recalls the great ceramist: it is an opera of the last decade of the twentieth century and was created by the Bottega Gatti workshop, which is still continuing with the work of the artist.

Directions: The statue is situated inside a large public park along a walkway: there are several entrances to the Parco Gatti park (see also the related file) and nevertheless the easiest way to get there is from via Pantoli, a side-street of via Silvio Pellico, in the Borgo Durbecco zone.
