Tourist offices:

Large ceramic sculpture located at the rear of the Palazzo del Podesta building.

Description: Realised in 1986 by Ivo Sassi, the ceramist of Brisighella (but who has become a naturalised Faentine) Despite its stylisation, it intentionally and visually represents the flames of a great fire. The colours are gloomy but with true red reflections, sometimes shaded and at times even bright. Its position, on a pedestal, which in turn has been placed on a raised platform, is enhanced also by its background of the Palazzo del Podesta building and of the Clock Tower, enhancing and increasing the charisma of this work.

Directions: It is possible to reach the monument by car, however, because it is so close to the main square and because of its contextualisation, it is warmly recommended that it be included in a walking itinerary.
