Description: The Chiesa di San Francesco came about as a Franciscan monastery of Friars that settled in an old church dedicated to S. Girolamo. The present construction dates back to the XVIII century and still conserves traces (towards Porta Bonfante) of the old XV century building. Inside, you can see the chapel of the Naldi family and a painting dating back to the1600’s of Bologna. In the presbytery there is a painting of S. Giuseppe and baby Jesus attributed to the Reni school.
