Description: The Chiesa di Santa Croce, with its splendid “Compianto” in terracotta from the XVI century, rises in part on the old XV century Manfredi walls. Originally it was an old Oratory managed by a brotherhood that was in charge of assisting those condemned to death. Inside, on the big altar, you can see a crucifix from the XVI century carved from the wood of an olive tree and some works from the school of Faenza dating back to the same period.

Additional notes: The church is presently deconsecrated , but is used for shows and exhibitions. For a guided visit contact the IAT office of Brisighella.
