Tourist offices:

Description: Little is known of this medieval Camaldolese convent, whose church occupied this space in via San Giovanni. The cloisters were on the right and were discovered in 1900’s after having been used as storage for wood and sulphur factory. Only one porticoed side of this interesting monument remains with brick columns holding up gothic arches: all dated back to the end of the 1200’s.

Directions: From Piazza del Popolo head north along Corso Garibaldi up to via Manara, then turn left in to via Campidori. About half way down this street is vicolo San Giovanni on the right, where you can see the cloisters, as it is the current entrance to the Centro Formazione Professionale (Professional Training Centre).
