Explaination: The church, dedicated to San Pietro Apostle, is remembered for the first time on 14th April 1289. It was destroyed by a violent earthquake on 14th April 1781 and almost totally rebuilt between 1818 and 1820 by the work of Faentine architect Pietro Tomba (1777-1846). The church was once again completely destroyed during the encampment of the war front on the Senio river and was therefore rebuilt again. It underwent restoration works in 1983.The cemetery is located near the church, to the left.
