Explaination: A sort of park museum has been built underneath the ancient village wall. Here you can find some intriguing sculptures by the artist Giovanni Bertozzi inspired by the pages of a book by Leonida Costa “Le 127 giornate di Riolo” (The 127 days of Riolo-telling the story of the winter 1944-45 when the war front stopped at Riolo for over four months).

Directions: Riolo Terme can be reached from the north: leave the motorway at Imola and follow Via Emilia towards Rimini as far as Castelbolognese, then turn left into the SS 306 for about 9 km. from south: leave the motorway at Faenza and follow the Via Emilia towards Bologna as far as Castelbolognese, then turn left into the SS 306 for about 9 km. The park is situated in Via Firenze which you reach by taking the path next to the Pizzeria I Pini.
