Residence whose origins date back to the prehistoric age.

Explaination: Taking the Via del Borgo or “degli Asini” which introduces the medieval citadel, immediately upon entering the Porta delle Dame, you will see the “casa” or home, called Boschi-Raggi, dug out of the rock which appears to have prehistoric origins and is comparable to the “sassi” of Matera. The inside of this structure is made up of a grotto dug out of the chalk about 10 mt. high, used as a deposit for ice. In the entrance gallery you can admire a collection of archaeological artefacts.

Additional notes: The residence, presently restructured, houses antique furniture skilfully placed along side famous pieces of modern design.
