Address: Via Pantoli e Via Cimatti, Borgo Durbecco

Tourist offices:

Description: A beautiful green area created quite recently (1990’s) of considerable size – 25 thousand square metres, of irregular shape, for the morphology of the land, pleasantly “rough” with high grounds and a rich variety of plants, almost 400 in total of various species (there are unusual broad leaved varieties such as sorb trees, mountain maple, etc.).
In the centre of the park there is a monument dedicated to Riccardo Gatti created by the studio Gatti that is not far from here (in Via Pompignoli, a side street of Corso Europa) that continues with the work of the unforgettable ceramist of the “metallic lustre”. In addition, the Gatti studio is the oldest still active in Faenza, opened by Riccardo himself in 1928.

Directions: The park has various entrances, the main entrance being in Via Pantoli with a side entrance in Via S. Pellico that can be entered by turning left (when coming from the city centre) immediately after the Grazie bridge (in Via Ugo Piazza) and proceeding along the crossroads of Torretta-Cimatti-Pellico. There are also other slightly hidden entrances in Via Cimatti after the various side streets on the left (Via Ragazzini and Via D’Azeglio), with another entrance in Via S. Pellico n. 5, through the public area between the apartment blocks where its is possible to see the monumental ash tree (see Ash tree of Via S. Pellico).
